Stock & Procurement Controller

Optimum Golf Technologies is the exclusive manufacturer, distributor, and support centre for a number of golf technologies across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Our products range from the industry leading GCHawk & GCQuad Launch Monitors through to full immersion indoor golf simulators. 

Based in Guildford, Optimum Golf Technologies is one of the fastest expanding technology companies in the golf industry today, with a customer base covering indoor golf centres, hotels, golf clubs, cruise liners, resorts, and private homes.

Your core responsibilities will include

  • To actively manage our supplier base and ensure stock orders are placed with suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure parts are received OTIF and accurately receipted into the WMS with discrepancies recorded and reported in a timely manner.
  • Procure all raw materials & packaging required for production within stipulated lead times.
  • Expedite orders and keep the business updated on any delays or issues affecting supply.
  • Communication regularly with our U.S. manufacturers to ensure optimum inventory levels of hardware & software is maintained.
  • Maintain stock accuracy at all times via stock counts & audits and investigate any stock variances.
  • Conduct sourcing & cost saving initiatives to manage cash flow and ensure the pipeline is secure.
  • Managing the accurate and timely allocation, pick and dispatch of sales orders.
  • Liaising with the Shipping Coordinator regarding all collection & deliveries.
  • Maintain an orderly and accurate store to ensure parts can be located quickly.
  • Produce daily and weekly stock reports.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience within a similar inventory control / materials planning role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Confident in dealing with suppliers and able to challenge any discrepancies and non-conformance.
  • Confident to plan and manage stock levels effectively utilising the ERP system 
  • Managing existing and sourcing new suppliers.
  • Good organisational skills and highly self-motivated with the ability to cope and work under pressure. 
  • Ability to concentrate on detail in a very busy environment with the possibility of constant interruptions.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to track highly variable lead times.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Forklift work in the warehouse & loading/unloading of delivery vehicles.


  • Experience migrating a legacy system to a new ERP
  • Demand Planning / S&OP Planning experience
  • Direct experience using Zoho ERP
  • Shipping/logistics experience 

Salary & Benefits

  • £24,000 – £28,000 per annum + performance related annual bonus scheme.
  • 20 Days Holiday increasing by 1 day per year to a maximum of 25 days.
  • Pension contribution.
