What is the difference between the QuadMAX and the GCQuad?
Both are built on the same four-camera photometric platform and share the same 4 dot club data, so the underlying measurement is equally trusted. The QuadMAX adds the things that change how you work with it: a touchscreen on the device, MyTiles for customising which data sits on screen, a speed training mode, NFC and QR pairing, internal session memory, and three extra ball measurements in ball apex, ball descent angle and ball offline.

How does the QuadMAX work?
The QuadMAX uses four ultra-high-speed cameras to capture images of the golf ball within the first 30cm of ball flight. Taking those images from four perspectives builds a 3D picture of the ball’s movement, and the high-resolution cameras read the dimple pattern clearly enough to measure spin directly rather than infer it.
Using a method called spherical correlation, the onboard computer compares each image to the next and measures how the dimple pattern rotates through the set. To learn more click here.
What does the QuadMAX measure?
The QuadMAX carries the deepest data set: full ball and club data measured directly, plus group and flight data calculated from the same capture. On device it also reads ball apex, ball descent angle and ball offline. To see the full list visit here.
What are MyTiles?
MyTiles lets you choose which data points appear on screen and save them as presets, up to six of them. A coach working on club path and a fitter working on impact location can each set the QuadMAX up their own way and switch between profiles as the day changes.
How does speed training work?
Speed training is a dedicated mode that measures club head speed with a golf club or a speed training aid, without needing to hit a ball. It means you can build and track speed anywhere you have room to swing, and see the numbers move across a set rather than guessing at progress.

Does the QuadMAX require a subscription?
No. Once purchased the QuadMAX requires no additional subscriptions or fees to use its features. Club data is enabled with 4 dot club markers, included with the unit.
Is it worth upgrading from a GCQuad?
It depends on how you work. If you mostly use a laptop or simulator screen anyway, the GCQuad still measures beautifully. If you spend your day moving between bays, coaching or fitting, the on-device screen, MyTiles presets, longer battery and lighter body change the experience considerably. Our team can talk it through honestly, and our trade-in programme puts the value of your current unit towards it.
